We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Karen Grace Bakker-Stephens (Caledonia, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Albert, Gerda Postma, Rimmer and Gerritje Bakker; her uncle Teade Bakker; her aunt Eefje MacLean; and her cousin Steve MacLean.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Stephens; her parents, Marinus Bakker and Margaret Bakker of Auburn; her siblings, Ruth Anne Brown (Mike) and Mike Bakker (Courtney); her nieces and nephews, Mikayla, Travis Brown, Reid, Morgan Bakker, Mckenna, Chelsey Stephens, Sebastion, Isaac and Sara Stephens; and her friends, Gwen Summer (Horst), Michelle Dobbie (Jason) and Dan Hodgins (Pam).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Caledonia Lions Hall (100 Haddington St, Caledonia, ON N3W1G4). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Donations are being accepted for: CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIÉTÉ CANADIENNE DU CANCER (CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIETE CANADIENNE DU CANCER).
