It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Montour (Caledonia, Ontario), who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Shae Madeline; his parents, Cecil Morgan Montour and Lillian Grace Montour; his brothers, Ellwood (Ted), Gary and Jason; and his father-in-law Jerry P. Longboat.
He is survived by: his wife Deneen Montour; his child Shelby; his sons-in-law, Curtis and Cecil (Emma); his grandchildren, Teyo, Dawson, Soki, Izzy and Lily; his siblings, Kevan and Melanie; his siblings-in-law, Rhonda Longboat, Claudine Longboat-White, Randy White and Jerry P. Longboat Jr.; and his caregivers, Mary-Grace, Tessa, Camila, Kim and Dr. Levine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In 2022, after the COVID-19 pandemic, he returned to coaching alongside his son-in-law Curtis with the Buck Nation Ladies and won the championship once again.
