He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his mother Mary; his siblings, Adriene, Leora (Sheldon) and Graham (Brenda); and his children, Alan Ann (Rebecca), Trevor Ann (Shelly), Ryan Ann (Kim) and Lori Ann (Steve).

In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
