He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Ann Barker (Solinger); and his sister Shirley Lindhorst (Barker). He is survived by: his children, Amy Lynn Urban (Michael) and Albert Henry Edward Barker.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Corbett Funeral Home (95 Dundas St N, Cambridge, ON N1R5N6). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Cemetery (235 Cooper St, Cambridge, ON N3C2J9).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Albert's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society. Donations are being accepted for: CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIÉTÉ CANADIENNE DU CANCER (CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIETE CANADIENNE DU CANCER).
