She was predeceased by: her parents, Raulino José of Sousa and Maria Andrade Melo; and her siblings, Maria S. Melo of Lisbon, Filomena, Rosa Loura (Mario) of Hudson Massachusetts, José M. Sousa (Helena) of Cambridge, António S. Melo (Maria Dora) of Santa Maria and Manuel M. Sousa (Rosa) of Mississauga.

She is survived by: her sister Virgínia Cabral (Clemente) of Mississauga. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
