He was predeceased by: his parents, John Skanes and Mary Skanes. He is survived by: his significant other Evelyn Skanes; his children, Noel (Gaye), Gary (Tammy) and Wanda Saunders; his grandchildren, Erik, Ryan and Amy; his great-grandparent Emmitt (Rylan); and his siblings, Lewellyn, Una (Lorne Schreiber), Mary (John Luna), Charles, Edgar, Hubert, Harold, Theresa, Margaret and Marjorie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the T. Little Funeral Home (223 Main St, Cambridge, ON N1R1X2). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
