He is survived by: his spouse Maria Lourdes; his children, Joe (Lucy), Arty, Luis (Cristina) and Jason; his grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, Eric, Andy, Chloe and Liam; his sisters, Maria Ines Chaves (Silirno), Leonor Rego (Jose) and Madalena Moura; and his siblings-in-law, Eduardo Braga (Rosa), Indalina Braga, Leonor Braga and Maria Chaves.
