She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Carter and Effie Carter; her parents-in-law, Isabel and Walter Dawson; her brother Lloyd Carter; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Touchings, Jack Tilson, Edward Burr, Ken Dawson, Shirley Lee and Pat Carter.
She is survived by: her husband Ross Dawson; her children, Carolyn (Don), Alan (Cindy), Paula, Rod and Ruth (Clarke); her grandchildren, Isabella (Griffin), Cole, Tyler, Jeff (Amanda), Scott (Lynsay), Sarah, Charlie and Kael; and her parents-in-law, Muriel Touchings, Joe Carter, Barbara Carter, Susan Burr, Bill Carter (Laurie) and Barbara Burns (Art). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
