He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth and James; his brother-in-law Wendell; and his grandchild Karli Chomick. He is survived by: his son Kyle; his grandchildren, Savanna and Ryder Byrne; his wife Peggy; and his siblings, Mary, Cecilia (Jim), Patrick, Frank (Mona) and Harold (Donna). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and numerous friends.
