Ardis Lee Cooper Obituary

February 21, 1957 to March 02, 2020

Ardis passed away unexpectedly at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on March 2nd, 2020 with her family at her side.

Ardis will be deeply missed by her Mom Janet Purdy (Daryl) and her sons Alex Harvey (Shelly) and Edward Harvey (Crystal). Nanny to Shane and Paige (Jeffrey). Grandmother to Tiffany, Brittany (Gordon) and Alex Jr. Great-grandmother to Taylor and Everett. Sisters Laura Mellish (Clint), Jill Purdy (Will), Kristy Burnett (Bill), soul sister and cousin Sharilee Then (Harold). Brothers George Mellish and Jay Burnett. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Ardis is predeceased by her amazing DAD William (Bill) Purdy, her beloved grandparents Margaret and Clifford Orton, her long time companion Wayne Aune, son Michael Harvey, brothers Donny Cooper and Randy Cooper-Purdy, nephew Michell Purdy, uncle Donny Orton, cousin Cliff Orton and her biological father Gerald Cooper (coop).

Ardis enjoyed life to the fullest and had so much love to share with a heart of gold. She spent most of her time with family, laughing, dancing and having a drink. Ardis loved spending her weekends with family and many friends at the Preston Legion as she was an active member. Ardis had a love for all animals particularly her own fur baby Dustin and her many grandpups.

We would like to ask family and friends to come Celebrate Ardis’ life at the Preston Legion, 334 Westminster Drive North in Cambridge on Friday March 6th, 2020 from 3pm to 5pm.
