With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beatriz Figueiredo (Cambridge, Ontario), who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Beatriz departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Beatriz. Though Beatriz may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Manuel Reis Figueiredo; her parents, Gloria Andrade Chaves and Manuel Chaves; her siblings, Maria Valentnia (Manuel Puim), Helena (Jose Sousa), Maria Dos Santos, Maria Paulina and Jose Chaves; her nephew Jose Chaves Puim; and her niece Natalia Chaves Rego.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Antonio Da Costa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Corbett Funeral Home (95 Dundas St N, Cambridge, ON N1R5N6). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima RC Church (185 Elgin St S, Cambridge, ON N1R7C8). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Parklawn Cemetery (750 Fountain St N, Cambridge, ON N3H4R7).
