He is survived by: his significant other Joan Armour; his children, Christopher Bernard Ross, Paula Joan Ross and Darren Frederick Ross; his grandchildren, Gage Ross, Payton Ross, Alexa Zenchuk, Violet Williams and Norah Williams; his stepchildren, James Alexander Armour, Pamela Elizabeth Zenchuk and Sarah Catherine Armour; his former wife Carolyn; and his sister Bernadine Karen Robertson. He is also survived by his family, friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bernard's memory may be made to Lisaard Hospice.
