She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; her parents, Alice Pettit and Bill Pettit Sr.; her brother Ed; and her sisters-in-law, Beverly, Joanne and Janet.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Goodyear (Gary), Al Closs (Marita) and Glen Closs (Aleda); her grandchildren, Reed Goodyear, Jill Williams, Justin Wencel, Josh, Wencel, Shyla Russell and Katie Ince; her great grandchildren, Lilly, Emmett, Kali and Emori; her brothers, Victor Pettit and Bill Pettit Jr.; and her friend Bernice. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lounsbury Funeral Home (1766 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge, ON N3C1N8). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at the New Hope Cemetery (235 Cooper St, Cambridge, ON N3C2J9).
