He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lahey and Ellen Lahey; and his siblings, Ward, Walt, Sylvester, Paul, Bernadette and Marie (Toni).

He is survived by: his significant other Jim Young; his siblings, Andrea (Ed) and Sean (Joan); his daughters, Sarah and Anje (Chase); his grandsons, Devon, Josh, Landon and Zackery; his adoptive daughter Laura (Jim); his nieces and nephews, Juanita (Victor), Blair (Ebony), Cathy (John), Janis (Keith), Tina (Andrew), Tommy (Julia) and Rowan; and also, Anne Young and Mary Sing (Bob). He is also survived by his family, close friends.
