He was loved and cherished by many people including: daughters: Jennifer Smith (Shawna) and Jodie Erwin (Blaine); grandchildren: Alyssa, Ethan, Bennie, Leora, Lucas and Scarlet; great grandchildren: Charlie, Peyton, Ella and Armani; ex-wife: Karen Shular (Mike); brothers: Danny Smith (late Rose), Mark Smith (Pauline) and Allan Smith (Jane); brother-in-law: Richard St. George (late Darlene); parents: Bob and Jackie Smith (nee Huneault); sisters: Darlene; sister-in-law: Rose; other: Aaron Erwin; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (96 St Andrews St, Cambridge, ON N1S1M8). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Coutts Funeral Home (96 St Andrews St, Cambridge, ON N1S1M8). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM and from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Parklawn Cemetery (750 Fountain St N, Cambridge, ON N3H4R7). A reception will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (96 St Andrews St, Cambridge, ON N1S1M8).
