“Bonnie was a kind, selfless woman, and an amazing educator. I met her on staff at Sheffield and Dr. John Seaton, and she was a big inspiration to me in my eventual role as primary teacher. Mrs. Field was the one the kids never forgot as they moved up the grades. She was calm, kind and loved to read good stories to her students, and I tried to emulate these things in working with my own Grade 1 classes. My sincerest condolences to all of Bonnie's family at this difficult time. Laurie Huurman”
