He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kelly and Mary Kelly; and his siblings, John Kelly (Pat), Maureen Byrne (Jim), Noel Kelly (Bernie), Tom Kelly (Helen), Lilly Kelly and Eddie Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Kelly (Van Waelderen); his children, John Kelly and Katherine Kelly (Paul Becker); his grandchildren, Caroline Kelly and Mark Shields (Pam); and his siblings, Harry Kelly, Kathleen Collins, Gerard Kelly (Sheila), Jimmy Kelly (Maureen) and Rita Murray (Liam). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
