He is survived by: his wife Pat Rischewski; his siblings, Immgard Poeth, Rudi (Dorle), Gerhard (Regina) and Arnold (Sonja); his stepchildren, Malcolm (Maggie), Leonora (John) and Marie (Dennis); his sister-in-law Sonja Staebe (Amo); and his niece Margit (Bernhard). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
