It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carlos Afonso (Cambridge, Ontario), who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Stephanie; his siblings, Joao (Angela), Olivia (Afonso), Jose (Luisa), Albertina (Joao Luis), Antonio (Gracinda), Anna (Manny) and Espírito Santo (Antonio); and his parents, Joao Feleja and Maria (Espírito Santo Arruda).
He is survived by: his wife Maria Feleja; his children, Samantha and Steven (Jess); and his grandchildren, Elliana and Emerson. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Corbett Funeral Home (95 Dundas St N, Cambridge, ON N1R5N6). A rosary will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church (185 Elgin St S, Cambridge, ON N1R7C8).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carlos's memory to McMaster's Children Hospital or Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
