He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Margaret; his brothers, Gerald Nolan and Kenneth Nolan; and his brother-in-law Lou.

He is survived by: his spouse Ruth Nolan; his children, Sharon Gehiere, Gerald Nolan (Denise) and Donna Linn (Doug); his siblings, Dominic Nolan (Daisy), Thomas Nolan (Bonnie), Patrick Nolan (Diane), Anita Kimler (Lewis) and Kathleen Noguchi (Jamie); and his friend Bubba. He is also survived by many nieces nephews.
