He was predeceased by: his mother Lillian Bell; and his stepfather Hall Bell. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Geoff (Karen), Chris (Sandy), Gary (Pat) and Glen; his grandchildren, Heather (Emrah), Jaclyn (Josè), Brad (Mallory), Scott, David and Ben; and his great grandchild Ernie.
