He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Chisholm and Finley Chisholm; and his siblings, Donald, Belle and Calvin.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Chisholm (Gerrior); his children, Gary, Pamela (Matthew) and Lorna (Josh); his grandchildren, William, Preston and Charlotte; and his sisters, Cathy and Peggy. He is also survived by many sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews.
