We announce the death of Danyal Shamon (Cambridge, Ontario), who passed away on June 18, 2026, at the age of 85. Danyal will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kourkies Shamoun and Victoria Jerjis Hannosh; his spouse Younia Nisan Shamon; and his children, Susan, Roger, Sonia, Silvana, Sanderella, Delon, Linard, Sandy and Savina. He was also cherished by 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
