He was predeceased by: his son Andrew; and his sister Takeko. He is survived by: his spouse Mishiko; his daughter-in-law Michele; his grandchildren, Raphael and Mayumi; his daughter Daien (Hiroshi); his grandson Sage; and his siblings, Kennosuke (Eiko), Yoko and Kayoko. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
