He was predeceased by : his daughter Miriam Lester (Jose Antonio); his grandchildren, Angelica, Gabriella, Raquel, Rafael, John Lester, John Dewey, John Frank, Lester Jr., Kristen, Rudy, Miriamsita and Lestersito; and his sister Argentina.

He is survived by : his wife Lucrecia; and his children, Tania (Noel), Eddy (Sandy) and Abuelo.
