She was predeceased by: her significant other Ross Adshade; her parents, Margaret Simons and Jesse Simons; and her siblings, Clara Albert (Art), Helen Peets, Cynthia Vincent (Reg), George Simons (Claire), Jack Simons (Ella) and Elsie Landry (Ed).

She is survived by: her sons, Ross Adshade (Kim) and Rob Adshade (Sue); her grandchildren, Kyle and Brock Adshade; and her siblings, Dorathy Hazlehurst (Jim), Ronald Simons and Shirley Townsley (Noel). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

As an expression of sympathy, donation made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital or the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
