He was predeceased by: his brother Doug Burr; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Tillson and Joe Touchings. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Shawn and Jennifer (Marcus); his grandchildren, Molly, Joshua, Brinley and Alexander; his siblings, Jim Burr (Bev) and Joan Collins (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Lloyd Carter, Joe Carter (Pat), Bill Carter (Laurie), Muriel Touchings, Anne Dawson (Ross), Barb Carter, Ruth Walker (Clarke) and Susan Burr.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to Epilepsy Canada or Haven House Women's Shelter of Cambridge (Women's Crisis Service of Waterloo Region).
