It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eileen (Neeltje) Berends (Cambridge, Ontario), who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sisters, Corrie, Jean and Trudy; her daughter Nina Berends; her husband Bernard; and her daughter Hilde.
She is survived by: her children, Annetta, Juergen Demsky, Randy, Liz Berends, Steve Wyse, William and Karen Berends; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Victoria, Conor, Jake, Ian and Sean.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coutts Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (96 St Andrews St, Cambridge, ON N1S1M8).
As expressions of sympathy donations made be made to the Canadian Bible Society.
