She was predeceased by: her husband Don Cartwright; her parents, William Rueger and Dorothy Rueger; and her siblings, Madeleine, John, Dennis, James and Ray Rueger.
She is survived by: her children, Dave, Shari Cartwright of Blyth, Derrick, Donnia Cartwright of London, Lorie and Doug Ferrell of Cambridge; her grandchildren, Andrew Perry, Brittany Cartwright, Tyler Cartwright, Christopher Cartwright, Evangelitsa Cartwright and Amanda Ferrell; her great grandchildren, Cameron and Connor Perry; and her siblings, George Rueger (Nina), Don Rueger (Sheila), Ron Rueger and Carol Thompson (Rueger). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations to Canadian Cancer Society and the Alzheimer's Society are appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
