She was predeceased by: her father Jose Bairos; and her sister Luisa Leonardo (Dinis). She is survived by: her husband Ernesto Melo; her son Jack; her daughter-in-law Brandi; her granddaughter Elena; her son Jason; her mother Adelina Bairos; and her sisters, Lourdes Resendes (Louis) and Cidalia Sousa. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
