He was predeceased by : his daughter Julie; his parents, Jean Cullaton Willemsen and Henry Willemsen; his siblings, Hugh Cullaton and Margaret Dosman; and his brother-in-law James Gibson.

He is survived by : his daughters, Joanne Hankins (Jason Gropp) and Beth Drinkwater (Trevor); his grandchildren, Joshua, Aiden, Alexandra, Leah and Tate; his sisters, Marilyn Gibson and Patricia Walsh (John); and his siblings-in-law, Steve Dosman and Karen Cullaton.
