We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2023, at the age of 63, Gary Nymeyer (Cambridge, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Nymeyer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Nymeyer and Arlene Nymeyer; and his sister Jenny. He is survived by: his wife Anita; his children, Aaron, Cameron, Laura (Scott) and Jessica (Rick); his stepchildren, Chris (Danielle), David (Amy) and Michelle (Jaydon); his grandchildren, Mason, Norah, Oliver, Eli, Levi, Olivia, Eloise, Marie-José, Callum, Orson and Rowan; and his siblings, Berny and Margo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gary may be made to the Lisaard House or to Medical Daycare Cancer Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

“I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am right now without Gary. A very thorough teacher in his profession. Excellent roll model, inspired many. Thankful for everything Gary has taught me and being the best employer I have ever worked for. He cared about his employees and his customers, showed a big passion for what he did and loved his family dearly. I applied for a position at the company he managed and at that age it had to be the most intimidating interview I had had up to that point. Gary became a second father to me. This loss for our community of such a kind, hard working and caring man will most certainly be felt among those who knew him.
