He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Elizabeth; his stepgrandchildren, Adam (Lynsay), Andrew (Joanna) and Sarah (Justin); his nephew Gary; his brother-in-law Murray; and his parents, Carrolyn and Ivan.

He is survived by: his children, Murray and Susan (Ron); his grandchildren, Jonathan Wickens (Elise), Brad Wickens (Whitney), Vivian and Everly; his child Sadly; his nieces and nephews, Holly, David (Kim), Mark, Karen (Ed), Steve, Glennis (Greg) and Julia; and his sister-in-law Sylvia.
