With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Harry Solonik (Cambridge, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 11, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Solonik and Alice Solonik; and his siblings, Audrey Sturgeon, Dorothy Solonik, Ron Solonik, Doug Solonik and Gordon Solonik.

He is survived by: his children, Tammy Solonik (Sam) and Kevin Solonik (Cindy); his grandson Christopher Solonik (Brittany); his siblings, Larry Solonik (Jane), Harold Solonik (Annette), Ruth Anne Scott (Jack) and Gerry Sturgeon; Isobel Solonik.
