He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gertrude Anita Doyon; his daughters, Louise Vermeer (Henk) of Texas and Pauline Young-Davis (Jason) of Cambridge; his grandchildren, Nikki Vermeer, Brian Young (Amanda), Jeff Young (Erin) and Cherie Povey; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Carson, Jasmine and Sage; his siblings, Thérèse (Donia Roy), Marie Paul (Réal Bégin), Bertrand (Ghislaine Fortin) and Huguette (Jacques Bouchard); his daughter Suzanne; his parents, Antonio Labbé and Maria Turcotte; his siblings, Cécile (Ronald Traver), Jean-Paul (Mary Stasiuk), Marcel (Jane Callwood), Rita (Lawrence Thompson), Gilberte (Gérard Beaudoin) and Madeleine (Lionel Perron); Gertrude Doyon.
