He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Whitelaw and Dorrie Whitelaw; and his brother Rick Whitelaw. He is survived by: his significant other Sara Shawcross; his son Kyle Young; his siblings, Cheryl Cooper (Jim), Brenda Whitelaw, Gerry Whitelaw Jr., Robert Whitelaw (Lissa), Kathy Whitelaw and Karen Darel (Gary); his parents-in-law, Frank and Deborah Shawcross; and his siblings-in-law, Craig Shawcross and Carrie Shawcross (Mark Fontes). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
