He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and May; and his siblings, Robert (Florence) and Dorothy (George). He is survived by: his wife Faith; his children, Robert, Jean Schwab (Harry) and Darlene; his grandchildren, Eric Schwab (Jessica Jenkins) and Kristi Schwab (Kyle Kent); and his great grandchildren, Vada Rose and Xander Schwab.

As an expression of sympathy, donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Humane Society.
