He was predeceased by: his parents, James Moir and Gladys Moir; his nephew Jim Storey (Sheri); and his sister Jeanne Moir. He is survived by: his wife Shari Carter; his children, Pamela Koller (Peter), Michelle Correia (Rick), Amanda Moir (Hassan Noori) and Jeremy Moir (Nathalie); his stepchildren, Daniel Hackett (Carina), Thomas Hackett and Benjamin Hackett; and his nieces, Tracy Palmateer (Dan) and Marie Wilkinson (Dave).

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
