He was predeceased by: his spouse Ona Trim; his child Bill Trim (Lina); his parents, William Trim and Agnes Trim; and his brother Don Trim.
He is survived by: his child Gail Hastings (Don); his grandchildren, Emily Pederson (Paul), Tim Hastings, Christopher Trim (Jocelyn) and Victoria Trim; and his sibling June Cunningham (late Alf). He is also survived by great-grandfather 5 great-grandchildren.
