She was predeceased by: her parents, George Read and Magdalena Read; her husband John Brent; her sons, Terry and Brian; and her siblings, Dorothy (Bob), Murial (Ron), George (Beatrice) and Douglas (Marilyn).

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth (Darlene), Wendy (Rick), Ian (Rhonda), Alan and Richard; her children-in-law, Hugie and Patti; and her siblings, Betty (Henry), Sandra (Gerry) and Ron (Gayle).
