She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Reid; and her parents, Douwer Elgersma and Baukje Elgersma. She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Nymeyer, Douglas Nymeyer, Dawn Dietrich, Nathan Reid (Sally), Charlene Reid and Julie Shafe (Mike); her grandchildren, Tamara Reid, Briana Reid, Sophie Shafe and Jackson Shafe; and her siblings, Patricia Verbrugge (Elbert), Andrew Elgersma (Janet) and Wendy Helleman (Adrian).
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Canadian Lung Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
