He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Bach and Margaritha Bach; and his siblings, Karl Bach, Carolyn Pickford and Agnes Zegray.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bach; his child Chris Bach; his siblings, Walter Bach of Dominion and Bertha Dobranski (Rita Moore) of Cambridge; and his sister-in-law Barbara Gamble of Cambridge. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
