He was predeceased by: his parents, Vinetta Cripps and Stanley Cripps; and his brother-in-law Ed Thornton. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his children, Dr. Jody Cripps (Stacy Duvall) and Janis Cripps (Lee Sams); and his siblings, Jeanne Thornton, Ken Cripps (Bev) and Jim Cripps (Joanne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
