She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Hunter; and her children, Kathy, David and Christopher. She is survived by: her sister Laurel; her grandsons, Robert Howden (Alycia Hodapp) and Richard Howden (Andréa Howden); and her great grandchildren, Iris, William and Benjamin Howden.
Iris was a fiercely independent woman who lived alone and reveled in the freedom of driving her car until the arrival of COVID and she proudly maintained a valid driver's license until the time of her passing.
