It is with sadness that the passing of Istvan Kertesz (Cambridge, Ontario) is shared. Istvan, born on December 30, 1937, passed away on June 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Istvan will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Istvan by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Istvan is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Istvan’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Jan) and Debra (Frank); his grandchildren, Spencer and Cameron; his wife Rosa; Kelvin, Harold, Wahid and Kalani. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
