In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jacinto had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Jacinto may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his wife Arminda Maria. He is survived by: his children, Tony (Sharon), Grace (John), Joe (Janice), Mike (Raeann) and Maggie; and his brother Maximino Galvao. He is also survived by grandfather of19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, his many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Corbett Funeral Home (95 Dundas St N, Cambridge, ON N1R5N6). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church (210 South St, Cambridge, ON N1R2P4). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parklawn Cemetery (750 Fountain St N, Cambridge, ON N3H4R7). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church (210 South St, Cambridge, ON N1R2P4).
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer Society, Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
