He was predeceased by: his wife Maria; his siblings, Jose Maria (Maria Filomena) and Maria Rosa (late Guilherme); and his parents, Maria Chaves and Antonio Chaves.
He is survived by: his children, Jose (Sandy) and Julie (Giovanni); his grandchildren, Mike, Wendy, Victoria, Bella, Olivia, Jeffery, Jeromy, Jason and Kassandra; and his siblings, Celeste (late Antonio), Deolinda (Agostinho) and Maria Beartriz (Carlos). He is also survived by his extended family and friends.
Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday February 1, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9p. m. Provincial Guidelines are in place for social distancing and masks are mandatory for each person in attendance.
