He was predeceased by: his father William Armstrong; and his sister Linda Defoe. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Armstrong; his siblings, Debbie (Paul), Donna (Harv) and Lindsay; his brother-in-law Desmond Defoe; his siblings' children, Nichole (Scott), Rachel, Courtney (Mark), Trevor and Bryan; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Charlotte, Althea, Spencer, Charlie and Wyatt. He is also survived by his many aunts, cousins, and friends.
Cremation has taken place and the family would like to suggest in lieu of flowers a donation to a charity of their choice would be a great way to remember Jamie.
