“Jim and I shared a special relationship as we served together at Heritage for many years. He was a simple, straightforward, faithful servant and a champion for students and staff who needed an encouraging word. No one could ever doubt that his primary allegiance was to the Lord Jesus Christ whom he loved -- and he shared his faith with everyone. He loved his family and friends and served us all until the Lord called him home.”

“To Jim's family: I always deeply appreciated chatting with Jim at Heritage College and Seminary where he was the custodian for many years. He loved his work and his Lord and I deeply appreciated his labour for the school and for Christ. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. I cannot be at the Memorial Service as I am teaching all that day, but know that I shall remember him with much fondness and thanks. Sincerely, Michael Haykin.”
