He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Natalia Correia; his parents, Antonio Jose Correia and Luisa Maria Oliveira Correia; his siblings, Manuel (Lurdes), Jose (Conceicao), Gloria (Audifaco), Luis (Nelia), Maria (Jacinto) of Jesus, Carmo (Duarte), Antonio (Teresa) and Estrela (Joe); and his mothers-in-law, Maria Chaves, Filomena Chaves (Joe) and Helena Resendes. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
